In today’s world, people have the capability to steal things and be really good at hiding them in various parts of their body. Because of this creative trickery, law enforcement and other professionals now have to resort to strip searching in order to find the stolen goods. Our bodies are our personal property and there are certain rights that have to be respected. Otherwise, the person performing the strip search is breaking the law and could have a lawsuit waiting for them. Here are some of the most inappropriate cases of strip searching. From schools taking it way too far to fast food employees being conned into forcing someone into taking it off, these cases made the national news and forced us all to reconsider what is moral and right for the sake of safety and preventing theft. Hopefully, you won’t find yourself the subject of a strip search. LONDONA U.K. company has released a concept of what airports might be like by the year 2040, and they may be a lot more efficient and passenger-friendly than the ones now. According to the company, passengers will be expected to check-in via self-service desks, which include biometric scanners that can scan passengers’ facial features, iris patterns and fingerprints in order to verify their identities. After check in, a biometric token will be issued and stored in the passenger's smartphone that serves as a boarding pass and ID. Luggage can be dropped at drop-off points. Laser molecular body scanners can detect even tiny-quantities of dangerous materials in passengers’ clothing or their luggage without the need for a body search. Passengers may buy duty-free goods from virtual shopping stations and have the goods delivered to their homes. However, passengers can still get help from virtual assistants when the airport enters self-service phase. Airport control is likely to be operated remotely outside the airport, with staff monitoring live video footage of the airport, similar to the system introduced Sweden. Other technologies, such as biometric scanners, are currently being trialled at Heathrow and Schiphol airports. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. Changi airport, Singapore (opening 2018) Architect Moshe Safdie – who designed the iconic Habitat 67 housing complex in Montreal – began construction on a new development at Singapore’s Changi airport in December 2014. Featuring a ‘Forest Valley’, ‘Jewel Gardens’ and a 130ft-high (40m) waterfall called a ‘Rain Vortex’, it looks more like the Land of Oz than an air hub; trees, palms and ferns are enclosed within a 134,000sq m glass dome. Safdie has said that the project is “the prototype of a new kind of urban place”. Mexico City international airport, Mexico (opening 2018) In September 2014, British architecture firm Foster and Partners won a competition to design what will be one of the world’s largest airports when it is completed in 2018. Working with Mexican firm Fernando Romero Enterprise, Foster and Partners unveiled plans for a 555,000 sq m terminal enclosed within a lightweight shell. The new international airport for Mexico City has been designed to accommodate increasing passenger numbers and has echoes of Foster’s plans for the world’s first private spaceport in New Mexico. The structure is pre-fabricated, allowing for rapid construction without scaffolding. The new building will harness the sun’s energy as well as collecting rainwater and maintaining interior temperatures using natural ventilation. Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji international airport, India (opened 2014) Designed to reference the feathers in a peacock’s tail – and mirror traditional Indian open-air pavilions – the concrete canopy on this new terminal is part of a wider trend to reflect local architecture within airports. This addition to Mumbai airport was opened in February 2014 and is the vision of US firm SOM, whose website says that “just as the terminal celebrates a new global, high-tech identity for Mumbai, the structure is imbued with responses to the local setting, history, and culture”. Shenzhen Bao’an international airport, China (opened end of 2013) Covered with a honeycomb pattern and a whopping 1.5km (0.9 miles) long, the new terminal at Shenzhen Bao’an was designed to evoke the shape of a manta ray, according to its architects Studio Fuksas. The architects rather poetically describe it as “a fish that breathes and changes its own shape, undergoes variations, turns into a bird to celebrate the emotion and fantasy of a flight”. The design continues into the interiors, its hexagonal skylights allowing natural light in with a dappled effect. Chongqing Jiangbei international airport, China (opening 2015) Architects ADPI continue the trend towards green space in airports in their plans for a new terminal at Chongqing Jiangbei. With two wings referencing Chongqing’s two rivers, the structure is set within a park: once completed, the terminal will be able to handle 55m passengers a year, ranking the airport among the world’s 15 largest. Pulkovo International Airport, Russia (opened 2014) Designed by Grimshaw architects to work with the extremes of climate in St Petersburg, the new terminal at Pulkovo airport features monumental folded ceilings clad in metal panels that recall the gilded spires of churches in the city. A series of linked zones is intended to reflect St Petersburg’s landscape of islands and bridges. Opening in February 2014, the building has a large flat roof with folded structures beneath that distribute weight away from the middle to offer support during heavy snowfall. Once construction on a second and final phase of the project is completed in 2015, the airport will cater for 17m passengers a year. Istanbul New Airport, Turkey (opening 2019) Grimshaw is also in charge of a team designing a new six-runway airport in Istanbul which aims to accommodate 90m passengers a year once it opens in 2019, before increasing its capacity to 150m after completion. Featuring a vaulted canopy, the airport’s Terminal One will cover a site of nearly 100 hectares (0.4 sq miles) – the architects say it will become the “world’s largest airport terminal under one roof” once finished. “We were inspired by the local use of colours and patterns, the quality of light and how it penetrates buildings, as well as by traditional architecture such as the Süleymaniye Mosque,” claims Tomas Stokke, the director of Haptic.

A CNN contributor received an advance pat-down from the TSA. It brought her to tears. Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Aida Rodriguez, and Amberia Allen, hosts of The Young Turks, break it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below. http://tytnetwork.com/go "Firebrand CNN political commentator Angela Rye was subjected to a humiliating body search while trying to board a plane to New York City on Wednesday night. She posted the video to Twitter and alleged that the TSA employee who searched her twice touched her inappropriately. Rye said she was singled out for a random search and that she had not set off any metal detector alarms. The TSA called a police officer when Rye asked why she was being singled out. Officials told her she could cooperate or be escorted from the airport by police. Rye agreed, finally, to submit to the search, which covered every inch of her body, including an uncomfortable-to-watch probing of her genital area. By the end of the search, Rye was shedding humiliated tears."* Read more here: https://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/watch-humiliating-tsa-body-search-leaves-cnns-angela-rye-in-tears/ Hosts: Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Aida Rodriguez, Amberia Allen Cast: Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Aida Rodriguez, Amberia Allen *** The Largest Online News Show in the World. Ordos The World’s Largest Abandoned City The development of the city of Ordos is a unique tale. Ordos is a city designed from scratch and built within 10 years. This city came to fruition after private mining companies were given the rights to dig into deposits in the late 90’s and 2000’s. This generated a lot of tax revenue making Ordos the 2nd highest income per capita city in China. Ordos is a city located in Inner Mongolia that has been constantly been burdened with water shortage issues. Instead of trying to revamp the current infrastructure the Chinese government decided to rebuild the city from scratch which is called “New Ordos” just 16 miles or 25 km kilometers away from the existing city now called “Old Ordos”. The people of Old Ordos refer to New Ordos as the Kangbashi district of Ordos, these new and old labels are basically not supported by anyone locally. Two villages built around the Wulan Mulan River were demolished and construction started in 2005. 161 billion dollars in infrastructure was invested to build the Kangbashi District over the first 5 years. Regardless if anyone lives in this new city, this is a major plus to the government of China as it increases China’s GDP. The government gave kickbacks to developers who helped boost GDP so building anything anywhere is promoted. The old city of Ordos or Dongsheng is home to over ½ a million people, it was expected that many of them would move to the new city as it became completed. As explained by many locals, a working couple only makes $800 a month combined of which ⅓ is taken for rent. The new apartments in New Ordos sell for 70 - 100 thousand dollars making it virtually impossible for locals to live there. Sales were slow at first but eventually investors snapped up many of the units in the new city. This has left New Ordos with a ton of infrastructure and no residents. The city was originally designed to hold 1 million people but was scaled down during construction to 500,000 then to 300,000 after coal prices crashed. The city features a 5 story shopping mall, impressive monuments and statues, art and city museum, the Ordos Dongsheng Stadium that seats 35,000 people, opera house, a brand new airport and a modern designed mosque. The city streets are lined with skyscraper after skyscraper that are almost completely empty. A toy store is one of the only stores in the massive 5 story mall, the man who runs the store says he sells something every few days and if the government doesn’t step in soon to fix it, he may have to move back to Dongsheng. It is estimated only 2 % of the buildings were ever filled the rest remain abandoned. Outside the mall an elaborate water show is put on every night with only a few people found to be watching it. A water show this size in a normal city would draw thousands of viewers daily. The city has everything it needs to be a great thriving new city like extra wide roads with bike lanes like what is found in Taipei, modern amenities and infrastructure but simply no people. The initial wave of 30,000 people that moved to New Ordos all lived in a 4 to 5 block radius just north of central park. A few years later that grew to 60,000 and now 12 years after the start of construction there are around 150,000 residents in a city that was originally designed for 1 million. The city has been doing many things to attract people to live there like moving the best schools from Dongsheng to Kangbashi. While some areas of Kangbashi aren’t a ghost town at all today, many still are. One abandoned project is the Ordos 100 Project, which is a project that was to have 100 different extreme luxury villas designed. Instead of the government doing it themselves they invited 100 different architects from around the world to each design a luxury villas to be placed on the map. Land sections were given out with the utmost creative freedom except the design was not to look like traditional Mongolian designs such as Yurts. Each architect designed their villa and construction started. Within the Ordos 100 Project site multiple half finished villas can be found. While many lay half finished some have progress going forward. Let's clear this up right now: drugs are illegal, smugglers are criminals, drug lords and their traffickers are cold-hearted, vicious, noodle-brained monsters. But, after watching this video, you'll have to admit that their noodle brain has a bit of a creative spark. Subscribe for more! ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedSubscribe ◄ Stay updated ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedFacebook https://twitter.com/BeAmazedVideos https://instagram.com/BeAmazedVideos◄ Get in touch or join the team: http://goo.gl/forms/2lOZyOeL3N SPOILER ALERT!!! A condensed list is below: ➢10. Breast Implants After police conducted a search they noticed bloody bandages under a womans breasts and then realised that her large boobs weren't just a result of conventional plastic surgery as the wounds weren't even stitched up. After a trip to a nearby hospital the bags were removed, containing 3 pounds of pure cocaine. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/breastimplants ➢9. On your head One woman at US customs was found with cocaine lining her wig. One woman was even arrested at a Spanish airport amid reports she had 880 grams of the Class A drug in nine packets hidden among her hair extentions! Credit: http://fur.ly/0/wigsmuggler ➢8. Ramp Fail This attempt at traversing the US-Mexican border, was likely imagined by a retard. Having screwed up the geometry, they drove their silver Jeep Cherokee over the 14 foot high US-Mexico border fence in Yuma, Arozona and unsurprisingly, were caught in the act. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/rampfail ➢7. Bugs It was found that some crazy fool had stuffed 3 grams of cocaine in each bug to make a total of 300 grams of cocaine. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/bugssmuggler ➢6. Cocaine Jesus If you're smuggling drugs, nothing makes quite as much sense as molding those drugs into Jesus. In Texas, border police stopped an elderly Mexican woman with a seven-pound statue of Jesus in her trunk. The statue was cocaine. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/cocainejesus ➢5. Makeshift Nappies A duct taped ass was spotted by custom officials at an airport in new york. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/ducttapedaiper ➢4. Messily taped under baggy garments A really, really optimistic Saudi smuggler was caught with 14 bottles of spirits taped into his underwear – hidden under his traditional white robes. Alcohol is illegal in Saudi Arabia, and those found smuggling or supplying it are subject to harsh penalties, including flogging. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/tapedunderbaggygarments ➢3. Cocaine penis Drug Mules, listen up. Even your genitals aren't off limits. As one man flew into Madrid Airport from Costa Rica his suspiciously large bulge between his legs alerted Spanish border police. The hidden appendage turned out to be nearly half a kilo of cocaine. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/cocainepenis ➢2. Inside pets Nothing is off limits to the smugglers. Dogs and other domesticated animals have had a ruff treatment and are viewed upon by traffickers as potential containers for their precious goods. Some cartels have surgeries dedicated to transplanting drug packages into dogs so that these cute animals can migrate the goods across borders. ➢1. Inside the human body You have to be a pretty crazy to smuggle anything, given that you could face years of hard time. You have to be even crazier to mule life-threatening amounts of contraband inside yourself.
